Description: The Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition presents “Continuing the Cancer Conversation” (Western Sussex County) at Nanticoke Cancer Center. All people who have experienced breast cancer as a patient or caregiver are invited to join us. Discussion will include sharing of experiences, ideas and suggestions on living with cancer and after cancer. Encouragement, friendship, fellowship and support is on the agenda. Event: ¡Vida! TM Multicultural Breast Health Forum in partnership with the Mexican Consulate

Description: Join DBCC for a day of breast health education, free screenings and information on how to live a healthy lifestyle at our ¡Vida! TM Latina Breast Health Forum in partnership with the Mexican Consulate of Philadelphia. DBCC will have programs in Spanish, Haitian Creole, and English from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Dover. Free screenings for cholesterol, glucose, body composition, blood pressure, emphysema & chronic bronchitis (COPD) and skin cancer will be available along with free flu shots, health and wellness information and children activities. Mammograms and cervical screenings for women over 40 will be available by appointment on the Women’s Health Screenings Van - call (888) 672-9647 to schedule. The Mexican Consulate of Philadelphia will provide passport, consular identification card and birth certificate services. Call (877) 639-4835 to schedule an appointment.
