Body and Soul Fitness and Spa 1st Annual Turkey Trot

Please come out or the 1st Annual Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk on Thursday, November 27, 2014 at 9 a.m. (Rain or Shine) for a fabulous event at West Seaford Elementary School. Awards will be presented in many categories and tee shirts will be available for all participants. Post race festivities includes free food and beverage. The 5K run/walk is a 2 loop course on paved roads and is very flat and fast! The proceeds will benefit the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition’s Bosom Buddy Fund that provides free wigs, hats, scarves, and bra prosthetics to breast cancer survivors in need.

Beginning Your Pink Ribbon Journey is a free class open to newly diagnosed breast cancer patients and their loved ones and is sponsored by the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition in partnership with Bayhealth Cancer Institute.
Join us to learn more about: breast cancer, nutrition during treatment, financial issues, your diagnosis and treatment, available support programs and other available resources.
Classes are held on the second Thursday of the month including Feb. 13, Apr. 10, June 12, Aug. 14, Oct. 9, and Dec. 11 from 5:00-6:30pm.

The evening will include a gourmet dinner and cocktails, exciting live and silent auctions, live entertainment from Kristen and the Noise, and local breast cancer survivors. All funds raised at this event support DBCC’s programs and services in Kent and Sussex counties.
18th Annual Breast Cancer Update

Save the date for the 18th Annual Breast Cancer Update: The Past, the Present, and the Future of Breast Cancer. The program will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 from 8 am to 2 pm. Each spring, DBCC presents a symposium featuring leading medical experts and other speakers discussing the most current topics in breast cancer diagnosis, treatment, detection and survivorship. The annual one-day educational forum is free and open to the public, and has become one of Delaware’s most trusted sources of up-to date breast cancer information.
