VIDA at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Dover.

¡VIDA!™ is a multicultural health program run by the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition. Each program is free and open to the public and allows community members to stop by at any point to learn about breast health and healthy living. Services available at prior ¡VIDA!™ programs include oral exams, clinical breast exams, HIV testing, screenings for blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes testing, and information for obesity and surgical weight loss. A Breast Cancer Conversation (Middletown)

Beginning Your Pink Ribbon Journey - Dover

Beginning Your Pink Ribbon Journey is a free class open to newly diagnosed breast cancer patients and their loved ones and is sponsored by the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition in partnership with Bayhealth Cancer Institute. Join us to learn more about: breast cancer, nutrition during treatment, financial issues, your diagnosis and treatment, available support programs and other available resources.

“More Than Pink” Health Expo and Family Fun Walk at the Dover Mall

Join the Dover Mall and the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition at our “More Than Pink” Health Expo and Family Fun Walk on Saturday, October 15th, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the Dover Mall. Featuring a FREE One-Mile Fun Walk and Raffle Prize Giveaway (Registration will be located at the Food Court Entrance), Health Vendors with snacks, exercise tips, and demonstrations, and Mammograms on the NEW screening van by appointment (call 1-888-672-9647 to schedule). Monster Miles for a Cause

Monster Miles for a Cause is a unique fundraising walk on the racetrack at Dover International Speedway - the Monster Mile! This un-timed walk is a family friendly event to benefit the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition and hosted by Dover International Speedway. Register to join us with your friends and family, RAIN or SHINE to join in the fun and food. Also, new this year we will have a beer garden available to everyone registered.

Run or walk in honor or memory of someone in your life who has been impacted by breast cancer. Participants are invited to be creative with team names and attire—wear PINK! All proceeds from the 2016 Monster Miles for a Cause benefit DBCC’s programs that increase breast cancer awareness, promote the importance of early detection, provide access to mammograms, and provide support and resources to men and women in our local community who are newly diagnosed or facing recurrence of breast cancer.

Registration begins on-site at 8:00am . The walk steps off at 10:00am. Walkers should arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time. Registration is $20 per person ($25 on “race” day).
