Join the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition for our new African American Breast Health Forum, Planting the S.E.E.D (Survivorship, Education & Early Detection). This will be a free event that is open to the public. The community is encouraged to attend to learn about breast health and healthy living. There will be free health screenings available.

The “Beginning Your Breast Cancer Journey” program helps connect recently diagnosed breast cancer patients with local resources and professional staff at the area’s cancer centers to address their concerns and get the support they need.
The program will be held at the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center on the second Tuesday of each month, with the start time alternating every month between 10 am or 4 pm. This program is sponsored by the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition in partnership with the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center of the Christiana Care Health System. Save Second Base Night with the Wilmington Blue Rocks

Save the date for the Annual Save Second Base Night, a breast cancer awareness game with the Wilmington Blue Rocks. The game will start at 7:05 pm. Don’t forget to wear your pink! There will be a pink jersey auction and raffle a the game.

The training will include background information about breast cancer, the organization, and volunteer opportunities. Volunteers assist with special events and projects, including fundraisers and community education & outreach. No experience is necessary. A light dinner will be provided.

Save the Date! 2012 Northern Lights of Life

The Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition proudly presents the 14th Annual Northern Lights of Life: An Evening of Living and Giving gala on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the breathtaking Conservatory at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA. This event is the Brandywine Valley’s premier breast cancer fundraiser.
The evening will include gourmet food stations and cocktails, exciting live and silent auctions, live entertainment and an upbeat fashion show featuring models who are breast cancer survivors. All funds raised at this event support DBCC’s programs and services in Delaware and the surrounding communities.
