Cheryl Doucette, Outreach and Education manager
Cheryl Doucette is a Breast Cancer Survivor who enjoys sharing her personal story to help newly diagnosed patients with their Breast Cancer journey. She coordinates education and outreach events for Kent and Sussex County. She delivers customized Breast Health Presentations to businesses, church groups as well as many civic organizations in both counties. She considers this her “Dream Job” because it never feels like work.
Cheryl is a Project LEAD Graduate through the National Breast Cancer Coalition. She also partners with area hospitals to help educate new survivors through the “Beginning Your Pink Ribbon Journey” program. Cheryl is also a Peer Mentor Program trainer as well as a mentor herself. “The best feeling in the world is to know that you have calmed a fear or eased a worry for another person.” Cheryl is an avid Breast Cancer Advocate. She enjoys makings sure that all women have access to the care they need.
She enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and 9 grandchildren at the beach and on their boat. She loves to cook and bake for a crowd and loves to take long motorcycle rides with her husband and friends.
