Susan L. DiMondi, RN is the DBCC’s Special Projects Manager for Kent and Sussex Counties. She also assists in training fellow survivors in the Peer Mentor Program.
Susan began her association with DBCC shortly after being diagnosed and treated for Stage 1 breast cancer in 2005. She volunteered for the 2006 Southern Lights of Life, an event that she chaired in 2007 and co-chaired in 2008. Her employment with DBCC started in 2007 when Susan helped open the new DBCC office in Sussex County.
Susan is a registered nurse, a graduate of the Beebe Hospital School of Nursing with a professional background in the area of critical care and renal dialysis. She resides in Dover with her husband Bill DiMondi and is the mother of three grown children. Susan enjoys traveling, biking, gardening and spending her summers in Dewey Beach.
