Description

The Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition (DBCC) awards a research travel grant of $1,000 to a graduate student in Delaware to attend an academic conference related to breast cancer. The student must have a paper or poster accepted at a national meeting such as the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium, the Inflammatory Breast Cancer Conference, or the American Association for Cancer Research. The student must agree to attend and present their research at the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition’s Breast Cancer Update in the spring of 2018. Typical expenses that may be paid from these grants include conference fees, travel, and lodging.

Eligibility

This grant is open to all 2nd year Masters Students and 3rd year PhD students with an interest in breast cancer who attend a university in the state of Delaware.

Application

Applicants must complete the DBCC application form and must commit to presenting at the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition’s Breast Cancer Update in April 2018 in Dover, Delaware. Applications must be written in English, and include a short description of research presentation and applicant statement.
