About Young Survivors in Action - DBCC

The Young Survivors in Action program is part of the ongoing outreach of the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition. This program focuses on young women who have targeted topics of concern due to their new diagnosis. Topics include fertility, sexuality, relationships, career, family and financial obstacles.

Breast cancers diagnosed at a younger age tend to be more aggressive and with these delicate components, the program provides an outlet and support for these young survivors.

Funds raised will be used to maintain the Kent County support programs that assist local young survivors and those newly diagnosed in how to navigate the new normal post diagnosis and treatment. Monthly events which focus on health, nutrition and mental wellness help assist with healing and allow meaningful connection to be made within the survivor community.
