The ninth-annual Deer Park Goes Pink 5K raised $58,595.15 for the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition, the nonprofit announced last week during a check presentation ceremony at the Deer Park Tavern.
“Proceeds from the event will directly support DBCC’s statewide programs and services, including education, screening access, patient navigation, and survivorship support for underserved and minority communities throughout Delaware,” Mackenzie Blithe, a spokeswoman for DBCC, said. “DBCC is deeply grateful to Deer Park Tavern for their continued commitment to making a meaningful impact in the fight against breast cancer and for bringing the community together for such an inspiring cause.”
