On October 3, 2023, the Women’s Golf Association of Bear Trap Dunes will be ushering in a new year of giving by celebrating its 17th year of supporting breast cancer awareness through its charity tournament, The Dunes Pink Classic. Since 2011, we have partnered with the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition (DBCC) so that all funds would be kept locally in Sussex County.
The Dunes Pink Classic is DBCC’s largest golf fundraising event. Since the inception of our partnership, the tournament has donated over $477,000 because of the generosity and support of businesses, individuals, and volunteers. All money donated by our sponsors goes directly to DBCC’s efforts in Sussex County.
